The tier of SERVICE the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Care Team operates at for a PATIENT.

National Codes:

1Tier 1 - Primary Care SERVICES who have first and regular contact with PATIENTS and families, such as GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS, Health Visitors, School Nurses, community health facilities and other primary care resources.
2Tier 2 - Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services delivered by an individual CARE PROFESSIONAL, attached to a single agency, working directly with a child, adolescent or family.
3Tier 3 - Multi-disciplinary and/or multi-agency teams provide delivery of the most appropriate intervention for a child, adolescent or family.
4Tier 4 - Inpatient services for children and adolescents, usually delivered within a Hospital or specialist inpatient clinic.
